For 45 Years, Washington Ave Laundry and Car Wash has proudly served the Cloquet, MN area with husband and wife duo, Tony & Ashley Anderson, taking over in 2020 as the newest owners.

Tony and Ashley have been married since 2014 and currently live in the area with their son, Arlo, and Cloquet Animal Shelter rescue dog, Khloe. Ashley was born and raised in Carlton County, MN and currently works at Essentia Health. Tony was born into a family of laundromat owners. Both Tony's grandparents and great grandparents owned several laundromats in Duluth, MN between 1950 to 1980, which made taking over the business a natural transition for the couple. He also works as a master plumber, self-employed, at A.M. Mechanical.

As a result of their entrepreneurial spirit and love for the local community, the Andersons bought Washington Ave Laundry and Car Wash from Paul & Jan Myers. Their main goal for the business is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for all their customers to ensure that Washington Ave maintains its reputation as the best laundromat in town.

If ever anyone has any requests or concerns, they are always around to answer any questions. You can always find the Andersons around the laundromat, so come on down and say "Hey!" One of the main perks of running the business for Tony and Ashley is getting the chance to meet new customers and friends in the hopes that they can continue the business' longstanding tradition as Cloquet, MN's one-stop shop for all things clean.
